WHAT SUGARING IS
Sugaring removes hair with a paste of sugar, lemon and water applied at body temperature. The paste grips the hair and lifts less surface skin than resin wax, and it rinses away with water rather than needing an oil based remover. Many clients choose it for reactive skin or for areas that feel sensitive with wax.
Bridgette sugars brows, lip, chin, sideburns, underarms, arms, legs, chest, stomach, back, bikini and Brazilian. If you would rather use wax, the same areas are on the waxing menu.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Arrive with about a quarter of an inch of growth and clean dry skin, with no lotion or self tanner on the area that day. Tell Bridgette about retinoids, acids, medication that thins the skin or recent sun exposure before she starts.
Expect the skin to look pink for a few hours. Keep the area cool and clean for the first day, skip heat, heavy sweat and swimming, and leave exfoliating acids for a couple of days. Cancellation and reschedule terms are on the policies page.

About a quarter of an inch. Sugar paste can grip slightly shorter hair than wax, but two weeks of growth still gives the cleanest result.
Keep the area clean and cool for the first day, skip heat, heavy sweat and swimming, and hold off on exfoliating acids for a couple of days.
