WHY A MAINE WEDDING NEEDS A LITTLE PLANNING
Maine is a long state, and a wedding here is not one climate. A July morning in Kennebunkport is humid and salty. The same weekend in Rangeley is cool at breakfast and buggy by the lake. October in Camden gives beautiful low light and a wind that finds every loose hair. Bridgette lives here, so she plans around the conditions of your actual date and town rather than applying one formula everywhere.
In practice that shows up in preparation more than products. Damp coastal air means the base goes on in thin layers and gets set only where the face moves, so it stays looking like skin instead of powder. Dry mountain air means longer on hydration first, because no base sits well on tight skin. Bright open light over water asks for a slightly stronger lip and lash than the same look would need indoors, or it reads faint on camera. None of that is complicated, but it is the difference between makeup that lasts a full Maine wedding day and makeup that needs rescuing before dinner.
HOW SHE WORKS ON A MAINE WEDDING MORNING
Every bridal booking includes a preview at the studio in Lewiston. You come with clean skin and photos of what you like, and you build the look together until it is right. It gets photographed, so the wedding morning is a repeat of something you already agreed to rather than a decision made while everyone is nervous.
On the day, Bridgette brings her own lighting. Maine getting ready spaces are often rented houses, inn bedrooms and hotel rooms with one small window facing the wrong way, and honest light is the only way to be sure the colour on your face is the colour that shows up in your photographs. She works to your ceremony time, allowing about an hour for the bride and 30 to 45 minutes for each additional person, and normally finishes the bride last so the freshest work goes straight into photos. Before she leaves there is a final check and a small touch up kit handed over with instructions, so the reception is covered.
She takes one wedding per date. That is deliberate. It means the morning schedule bends around your day rather than around another booking across the county.

Travel is $100 per hour, worked out on round trip drive time from Lewiston and confirmed at booking. A Greater Portland or Midcoast morning is a short drive. Rangeley, Bangor and Bar Harbor are long ones, and for those Bridgette will tell you straight whether an early departure or arriving the night before is the safer plan for your ceremony time.

PRICING
- Bridal makeup $300 for the bride, and that price includes the bridal preview.

- Makeup lesson $100 for one on one time with your own products.
- On location travel $100 per hour, quoted for your town and confirmed at booking.
Bridal clients also receive 10% off aesthetic services with Bridgette, so lashes, brows or a facial before the wedding can be booked at the same time.
Party minimum of 3. Smaller groups are considered case by case, so ask.
A 50 percent deposit holds your date. Deposits are nonrefundable, with exceptions considered case by case.
Long drives like Bar Harbor, Rangeley or Jackson are covered by the same $100 per hour round trip travel fee. When an overnight makes sense, I handle the accommodations and we settle it case by case at booking.
Everything is confirmed in writing before your date is held.
