How is wedding pricing worked out?
What the bride price includes
Bridal makeup is $300. That covers the bridal preview at my studio in Lewiston and your makeup on the wedding morning, plus a small touch up kit. The preview is part of the bride price, not a separate session.
Each additional person
Every other person in the booking, whether a bridesmaid, a mother, a grandmother or a friend, is $130. Add up the headcount and multiply. The final number is confirmed when you send the headcount before the wedding.
Travel, with an example
Travel is $100 per hour of round trip drive time from Lewiston. For example, getting ready in Portland is about 40 minutes each way, which comes to about $140 in travel. A bride plus two guests there would be about $700 in total, confirmed at booking.
Overnight travel
For a very early ceremony far from Lewiston, or a place reached by ferry, I talk with you about whether I should come the night before. That is discussed case by case when you inquire.
What is not included
Studio services like facials or lash extensions are booked on their own.
WHAT HELPS MAKE A QUOTE CLEAR
A town gives me a place to start, but the getting ready address lets me work out the round trip drive more accurately. A rental outside the village and a room downtown can have different arrival plans, even if the ceremony is at the same place. Tell me the time makeup needs to be finished and whether a ferry or a separate photo location changes the morning. I will confirm the travel figure before the booking is held.
For the makeup portion, start with $300 for the bride, including the preview, then add $130 for each other person having makeup. Travel is $100 per hour of round trip drive time from Lewiston. If someone is not certain yet, let me know that the headcount may change. I would rather revise the schedule and the quote with the right number than leave someone without a turn in the chair.
