HOW THREADING WORKS
Threading shapes the brow with a twisted cotton thread that lifts hair from the follicle, a few hairs at a time. Nothing warm and nothing adhesive touches the skin, which is why some clients prefer it when their skin is reactive or when they use retinoids and acids.
Brow shaping is the full shape appointment. Brow maintenance is the shorter visit between shapes, for cleaning up regrowth on a shape that is already set. If you would rather have the brows waxed or sugared, both are on the waxing and sugaring menus.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Come with a few weeks of growth so there is enough hair to shape, and skip makeup on the brows if you can. Bridgette maps the shape with you first, then threads to that line.
The skin around the brow can look pink for an hour or two. Keep the area clean, skip heat and heavy sweat for the rest of the day, and rebook every two to four weeks for maintenance. Cancellation and reschedule terms are on the policies page.
