How does the wedding morning work?
The preview
Every bridal booking includes a preview. You come with clean skin and inspiration photos, and you and I build the full look start to finish, adjusting coverage, colour and how strong the eye reads. I photograph it so the wedding morning is a repeat rather than an experiment. This is also when you say what you do not like, which is often more useful than what you do.
The wedding morning
I arrive with my own lighting and set up wherever there is an outlet and a little space. I plan about an hour for the bride and 30 to 45 minutes for each additional person, and work backwards from your ceremony time. The bride is usually finished last so the newest work is the freshest when photographs start, and there is a final check before you walk out of the room.
The touch up kit
You are left with a small touch up kit and shown exactly how to use it, so a blot and a lip through the reception does not need a professional standing next to you.
What is included in bridal makeup?
- A bridal preview, included in the bride's price.
- Skin prep chosen for your skin and the season, before any base goes on.
- Long wear products, set in thin layers for a full day and evening.
- Lashes as part of the look when they suit it.
- My own lighting, so the colour in the room is the colour in the photos.
- A final check before you leave the room, and a small touch up kit to keep.

I am based in Lewiston, inside Tucci & Co Salon at 1065 Sabattus St, and I come to you for weddings across Maine. Most of my wedding mornings are in Lewiston and Auburn, Greater Portland and along the coast, and I also travel inland, to the lakes and mountains and Downeast. Travel is $100 an hour round trip from Lewiston, and I confirm the figure in writing before your date is held.

What should I do before the wedding morning?
In the weeks before your wedding, keep me updated if the getting ready address or the number of people having makeup changes.
