WHAT IS OFFERED
Waxing removes hair from the root with a warm resin wax, so the area stays smooth for longer than shaving. Bridgette waxes brows, lip, chin, sideburns and full face, and body areas including underarms, arms, legs, chest, stomach, back, bikini and Brazilian.
Brow waxing is a shaping appointment, not just hair removal. If you want the brows shaped and darkened in one visit, brow shaping and tint is on the brow menu. Sugaring covers many of the same areas with a water soluble paste, and threading is available for brows.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Come with about a quarter of an inch of growth, roughly two weeks, and clean dry skin. Tell Bridgette before she starts if you use retinoids or acids, are on any medication that thins the skin, or have had recent sun exposure on the area.
Afterwards the skin can look pink for a few hours. Keep the area clean, skip heat, heavy sweat and swimming for the first day, and hold off on exfoliating acids for a couple of days. Most clients rebook every three to four weeks.

Most people rebook every three to four weeks for face and body waxing, because that is roughly how long it takes for growth to reach a waxable length again.
Come with clean, dry skin, skip lotion and self tanner on the area that day, and let Bridgette know about retinoids, acids or any recent sun exposure before she starts.
Waxing uses a warm resin based wax that adheres to hair and to the surface of the skin. Sugaring uses a water soluble sugar paste that grips the hair and lifts less surface skin, which many people find gentler.
Ask in an inquiry before you book. Facial waxing is usually kept separate from resurfacing facials so the skin is not treated twice in the same appointment.
