IS A CLASSIC SET RIGHT FOR YOU?
Classic lashes place one extension on each of your natural lashes. They suit anyone who wants their own lashes to look longer and darker without an obviously full or dramatic look, and they work well if your natural lashes are fairly full already. If you want more density, hybrid and volume sets add fans of finer lashes, and I will talk through the difference at your appointment.
What the appointment feels like
A full set takes about two hours. You lie back with your eyes closed the whole time, and most people find it restful enough to doze off. Your lower lashes are taped down out of the way, and I isolate and apply each extension one at a time. You should not feel the lashes going on.
How to arrive
Come with clean lashes: no mascara, no eye makeup and no oily skincare around the eyes that morning. Bring or wear glasses if contact lenses bother you with your eyes closed for a long stretch.
AFTERCARE, SHEDDING AND FILLS
Aftercare
Keep your lashes dry and away from steam, saunas and heavy sweating for the first 24 hours while the adhesive cures. After that, cleanse them gently every day, brush them through, and avoid oil based products and rubbing your eyes.
The natural shedding cycle
Your natural lashes shed a few at a time all the time, and the extensions go with them. That is normal and it is not a sign the set failed. Plan a fill every 2 to 3 weeks to replace what has shed and keep the set looking full.
Sensitivity and patch testing
If you have sensitive eyes, allergies or have reacted to lash adhesive before, tell me before you book. I can talk with you about whether a patch test makes sense before a full set.

Think about how you want to look on an ordinary morning, not only at an event. Classic extensions add one lash at a time for definition; a fuller style changes the density as well as the shape. I look at your natural lashes before deciding what weight and length make sense for them. Bring a reference photo if you have one, but point out what you like about it, such as the shape at the outer corner, rather than expecting the same set to look identical on different eyes.
Extensions also need a little care between visits. Clean the lash line gently after the initial dry period, brush the lashes without tugging and avoid picking at a loose one. A fill works best when enough of the previous set remains to build on. If you are not sure what is left, ask before booking so I can help you choose between a fill and a new set.
