How much does wedding makeup cost in Maine, and what does it cover?
My bridal makeup is $300 and includes your bridal preview, usually at my Lewiston studio before the wedding. Each additional person is $130. Travel is $100 an hour of drive time, round trip from Lewiston to where you get ready. I do not sell fixed packages, and my wedding makeup pricing page lists every rate.
At your preview in my studio inside Tucci & Co Salon on Sabattus Street, I build your wedding look while you watch, then I photograph it. The wedding morning becomes a repeat of a look you already approved, with no decisions left in it. Here is what sits behind each line of the price.
Clients have left me 60 five star reviews across Google, The Knot, WeddingWire and Facebook, and Google sits at 5.0 from 33 of them. I would rather you read them on Google than take my word for it.
What happens at the bridal preview?
The preview is a full run of your wedding makeup, start to finish, booked once your date is held. Skin prep, base, eyes, lashes, cheek and lip all get done the way they will be done on the day. It runs longer than your wedding morning appointment, because it includes the deciding.
Come with clean, moisturized skin and no makeup on. Bring inspiration photos, including one look you dislike, plus your veil and a photo of the dress if you have them. Tell me about allergies or sensitive skin before the appointment so I can choose products ahead of time.
Say the awkward things here. If you never wear this much, or your sister wants it stronger and you do not, the preview is the place for it. You can read more on what happens at the bridal preview, and small changes afterward, like a warmer lip for an October date, are normal.
How long does wedding makeup take on the morning?
I plan about an hour for the bride and 30 to 45 minutes for each additional person. So a bride with three bridesmaids needs between two and a half hours and a little over three hours in my chair. I work backwards from your ceremony time to set the first start.
The bride usually goes last, so the newest work is the freshest when photos begin. There is a final check before you walk out of the room. I arrive early enough to set up my light before anyone needs to sit down.
The most common reason a wedding morning runs behind is someone arriving late. A simple list of names and chair times, shared with everyone the week before, fixes most of that. Tell me early if the headcount changes, because the schedule changes with it.
What is included in the bride's price?
The bride's price covers the preview, the wedding morning application and a small touch up kit you keep. Nothing on that list is billed separately. Skin prep comes first, chosen for your skin and the season, before any base goes on.
I use long wear products set in thin layers, so the look holds for a full day and evening. Lashes are part of the look when they suit it. I bring my own lighting, so the color you see in the room is the color in your photos.

Before I leave, I show you how to use the kit. A blot and a fresh lip through the reception should not need a professional standing next to you. You can see more finished looks in my bridal portfolio.
How is my travel figured?
My travel is quoted up front, and it is drive time only. I count the round trip from my Lewiston studio to wherever you are getting ready and back again.
Closer towns like Poland, Freeport and Portland mean a smaller travel line. Long drives like Bar Harbor or Rangeley follow the same hourly rule. When an overnight makes sense, I handle the accommodations, and that is settled case by case at booking.
I cover Maine and beyond, and past mornings have taken me to the Samoset, the Wentworth and The Old Saco Inn. You can see how I run wedding mornings across Maine, town by town. Wherever you are, I confirm the travel figure in writing before your date is held.
What does a Fryeburg quote look like?
I worked a wedding at The Old Saco Inn in Fryeburg on September 12. Here is how a bride and three bridesmaids getting ready there would be quoted. Fryeburg is about an hour and ten minutes each way from Lewiston. Makeup is priced per person, and travel stays an estimate until I confirm your address.
- Bride: $300, preview included
- Each bridesmaid: $130, for three people
- Travel: about $240, for about two hours and twenty minutes of round trip driving
By the timing above, that party needs two and a half to a little over three hours of chair time before you are dressed. One local thing to know is that Fryeburg Fair week in early October brings heavy traffic into the valley, so I leave Lewiston earlier that week. The Fryeburg wedding makeup page has the rest of the local detail.
I take one wedding per date, so when you have a date and a town, check your date with me and I will reply within one business day with the line items for your morning.
Questions, answered
How much does wedding makeup cost in Maine?
Bridal makeup is $300 and includes the bridal preview. Each additional person is $130, and travel is $100 an hour of round trip drive time from Lewiston.
Do you offer wedding makeup packages?
No. I do not sell fixed packages. Your quote is built from the per person rates plus travel for your town, and I confirm it in writing before your date is held.
Is there a minimum number of people?
No. There is no party size minimum, so a bride on her own books the same way as a bride with a big bridal party.
How much is the deposit, and when is the balance due?
A 50 percent deposit holds your date. The balance is due two weeks before the wedding.
How far ahead should I book?
I recommend booking 9 to 12 months ahead. I take one wedding per date, so summer and early autumn Saturdays fill first.
Can I add lashes or other services before the wedding?
Yes. Everyone in your wedding booking gets 10 percent off my other services. A full set of lash extensions is $175, and I can help you time it at your preview.
