Wedding makeup that lasts a Maine summer wedding: what actually matters

A Maine summer wedding is not a controlled environment. Morning photos happen indoors, the ceremony is often outside, there is usually a boat, a lawn or a stretch of coast involved, and by seven in the evening the air has changed twice. Makeup that survives that day is built for it from the start.

Preparation does most of the work

Heavy coverage does not last longer. It breaks more visibly. The wedding morning schedule

Longevity is also a scheduling matter. Allow about an hour for the bride and 30 to 45 minutes for each additional person. Weddings run late because people arrive late, not because makeup takes longer than expected, so tell your party the time you actually need them.
